N95 8GB Loose Slider Fix

Hello,

This is my first post so I'm not sure if I've done it in the right place. Basically I've seen the fix on the N95-1 but wanted to know if there was a similar walkthrough on the 8GB version. So if anyone can help it would be great.

It started off with a slight movement up and down but has just recently started wiggleing side to side when the slider is opened.

Hope you guys can help.

i don't touch my phone's hardware. my n95-1 has a loose slider i don't want to fix myself. maybe sp00k can help you out.

C'mon folks... hasn't anyone done the slide-fix mod on an 8GB?

I only know about the mechanics on the N95-1, so I can't help out here.

there are only few members that has the 8gb here. have you searched in youtube? someone might have taken a video of it already.

iv googled it alot with no real proper walkthroughs. not on th 8gb anyway

Hey, i have the same problem. The phone wiggles from side to side whenever its open and when i am using it to make calls it becomes very annoying.... Please if anyone knows how to fix this problem let us know!! I might even consider selling this phone and getting the n95-3...

my 8 gig is brand new so slider is intact and it kinda pains when i think bt takin the cover out to see the slider mechanism...but i don' know maybe ill try...and let u know
