Had the phone now for 5 weeks... and it's broke AGAIN!

I have had this phone back with me for less than a fortnight and I found out today that the secondary camera doesn't work, so I can't make a video call... well I can, but no one can see me, lol.
I am pissed off now. I upgraded my very reliable SE W850i for this crap. The phone is excellent, if only it would work! My first problem with it was that the screen scrambled and they couldn't fix it, so was sent a new phone. First time trying to make a video call today and it can't.
The customer services bloke was trying to tell me that it was the fault of the other two phones I was making the calls to, lol. Why do they think you're so thick????!!!!

It's prety much their job to make you feel thick to make up for their own incompetence :)

If they send you a faulty item its their problem surely - It's ridiculous how many operators just write off these things as "common issues with the n95". :o

Go here (Make sure the rear lens cover is shut):

Menu -> Applications -> Camera

It should bring up the front camera view - Can you see yourself?

Nope, not a thing.

I've told them it's the secondary camera that's at fault. I kept telling them that, YES, I AM supposed to be able to see myself when making a video call. Stupid indian service centres... I'm sorry, they are nice people, I'm sure...

LOL! It was direct from 3. Never had any problems with them or the phones and I've been a contract customer for four years... then I got the N95, lol.

Some people just seem to get all the bad luck.. I can proudly say I have owned my phone for more than 7 months now and have never encountered any problems which were not fixed with a hard reset

Just out of interest, what firmware you using.? Have you tried a hard reset.? Hopefully it may just be a software glitch
