Hi! My name is Gary Walborn. I am a long time Linux and Palm user, but bought an N800 when they were cheap and I love it. Nokia's purchase of Symbian and the decision to take S60 open source prompted me to look at the
N95. I'm impressed by what I've seen so far. I'm seriously considering a move to the
N95 (to AT&T from Sprint), but I want to make sure the
N95 will suit me BEFORE I pay Sprint the ETF.
I am located in Youngstown, OH, but I am the CIO for a trucking company in Chattanooga, TN (about 650 miles away) and use the Internet to connect to work no matter where I may be. I need a phone and provider who will keep me connected to the Internet no matter where I am in the U.S. (Canada would be a bonus, as I spend a lot of time there). Also, I need to be able to use the phone with Linux or Mac because I avoid Windows like the plague (let's not even MENTION a Windows Mobile device here). I'm 53, single, and have a great dog (1/2 Akita & 1/2 Husky). (Is it OK to post Picasa links here?) Everyone on the forum has been very helpful and I look forward to interacting with the group!
Sincerely,
Gary Walborn
