Hot-Swap my N95-3 Mem card?

Hello all.

I have read on the net that the flash card in the N95-3 is a hot swap option but in my instruction booklet that was sent with my N95-3 it reads that I must choose to "take out" the card before I can do so or it may damage the card. Do I have to choose to take out my memory card VIA the phone software before I can take it out or can I just take it out and insert a different card while the phone is active?

It's better if you stop any transfers between phone <> memory card before you remove it. No big deal, in the worst case you end up having a few files corrupted, but it's better to just tell the phone you will take it out.

Hot memory swap means you do not have to turn the phone OFF, change memory card and then back ON to swap a card. Instead, you keep the phone ON and click on the <Remove Mem.Card> option, you can easily find this by pressing the button on the top of the phone(the ON/OFF button). You will find all the profiles for your phone and at the end of the list it's: "Remove memory card". Choose that, the phone will tell you NOW it's safe to remove the card.

When u put the card back on you do not have to do anything at all.
