Gah.... how many times has this specific rumor been dispelled here now?
For what I hope will be the last time, this has been publicly admitted to be fan art by the photoshopper himself. In fact, it was never meant to be a rumor- it was merely a suggestion from a Nokia enthusiast on the Nokia developer forums.
This particular rumor has actually been offered for 'pre-sale' on several websites. It's been featured plenty on blogs around the community- I PROMISE you, this device is not even a rumor- it's fan art.
End of discussion. Lately, this rumor talk has just gotten out of hand. Completely absurd looking devices have been brought forward recently, such as the winged eye-sore with the ridiculously un-Nokia looking button configuration and the dual sliding keypads. I love to speculate on the next Nokia device as much as the next guy- but some of this is so absurd...
The N97, or N99 (or as it was originally called by the chap who created the image- the N96) appears here in a new thread every couple weeks. I can't imagine why- it's a nice looking device, but it's been debunked time and time again.
No offense to the OP, but I'm so sick of seeing this device (actually, this is not the first time he's brought it up here or at NokiaUsers.net....) and it being claimed to be the next Nseries device that I could vomit.
