It's a stop gap, same as the 6gb was. Just designed to drip feed us technology and sponge more dough out of us technology hungry types.
We'll get tiny increments all the way up to 32gb untill we have a drawer full of old cards that don't even fetch £10 on ebay. ...Then they'll change the format and make those obsolete!
So, where can I order one?

Did anyone see that comparison photo from a while ago ? No, i'll post again hehe.
Here is a 1 GB Hard Drive 20 years ago.
We now have 32GB in cards the size of a 5p. Where will we be in another 20 years ?

We're generally inefficient with our space. Back in the day (yawn) people would fit 20 minutes worth of sampled music, and a player and some graphics onto a 1.44mb floppy disk.
Now I've got people trying to email each other 25mb documents with embedded pictures of crap and wondering why it takes 3 minutes to download and open!
I predict in 20 years, we will be even more inefficient, making it necessary to have larger storage mediums available, creating huge headaches for the guys that have to backup the crap every night for DR!

guys this is a protoype on other site i think gizmodo i read that when these cards will go in production which is going to be in Q2 the actual size will be 16 gig not 12....i just can't wait to get my hands on one.....
