Yep, which was my point. As soon as you put it into a bag, the advantage of being so thin is lost.

You could perhaps put it in a briefcase, but I wouldnt give much hope of level of protection offered.

Portability is all about surface area, and weight (and to a certain extent battery life & connectivity). They seem to have completely missed the point(s), by not improving any of them.

I agree Bartmanekul, you will still put it in the same bag as your old 15.4" or whatever laptop, and it still weighs the same, so what's changed? Oh hang on, I forgot, you can put it in the mail and post it to someone easier..... how many times do you post your laptop?

Just ordered a macbook air? HA HA HA Although it doesnt matter, because you only bought it cos of the way it looks (like a fisher price toy)

Yeah, you can get a 64gig SSD, but it costs an extra thousand dollars.
