Did you guys have a look at the new Macbook Air??
Hey guys, i was wondering if any of you got to look at the new Macbook Air launched by steve jobs yesterday in Macworld 2008 keynote....God tht thing is amazing....it is ultra thin...nd ultra light nd uber sexy.............tht is the second gadget i am head over heels in love wid......after my n95 offcourse.....

It could prove to be an expensive love affair!
"The machine goes on sale in two weeks and costs from $1,799 in the US (£1,199 in the UK) and comes with either an 80 Gigabyte hard disc drive as standard or 64 Gigabyte solid state drive for an added $999."
And this is at a time when laptop prices are dropping to a more readily-affordable level for a powerful machine... Good ol' Steve, yet another triumph of form over function.
Current conversion rate: 1800 usd = 918 GBP ... yet the UK is expected to pay a surcharge of 280 GBP? Are there really that many mugs around?

80gig? This at a time where $2000AU will get you a laptop with bigger screen and 500gig HDD. Does Jobs just take the world for a bunch of suckers?
