Ta, its just it happened to someone I know. Course, once you paid for it and its duff, what do you do? You can go and threaten violence, but that might not get you anywhere. You can threaten police, but given that its the type of person selling a blocked phone (therefore nicked) I cant see them being that bothered by that either.

When I bought my N95,I looked only at phones that where near me so I could view the phone for sale. There were 12 within a 20 mile radius of where I live and emailed them all to arrange a viewing. Only got 4 replies! In the end I bought one from the local newspaper classfied website because he told me he had one at a price I was looking at. He told me that one of the sellers I had contacted off ebay actually phoned t-mobile to get the phones blocked just after he'd got their feedback!

Never thought of that :S Don't see why they would do it because it wouldn't gain them anything but something else to beware of!

I imagine it was to report it stolen, so they could claim on insurance.

NOKIA N95 MOBILE PHONE WITH 2 GIG MEM SPARES OR REPAIR on eBay, also, Mobile Phones, Mobile Home Phones (end time 20-Jan-08 19:18:24 GMT)
Sim registration failed? Does that mean its been blocked, or just hes using a dodgey sim? Might go for cheap but not worth getting if its blocked i suppose (Although I could still use the GPS and WiFi ad the cam and music player etc)

SPARES OR REPAIR usually means it really is borked, wouldn't touch it with a bargepole mate.

Get the N95-1! I would recommend it over the N95 8GB any day of the week!

But is not as new and every ones got that one :P and the screen is smaller and less ram

EDIT:
You know what, im jsut gona get an N95-1
N95 Classic Or N95 8Gb
helped me decide. Not worth paying an extra £150 for a bigger screen and more RAM (and its black lol) when it hasnt got a camera cover and removable storage.

Now I can get one sooner too so less time to be stuck with the 3300 and 3310 haha!
