Phone comes up in Emergency Only

My new N95 comes up in Emergency Only. How do I get it to work on AT&T 850 and 1900.

Nick

Thats a good sign so far......
Do you know what version firmware it is running on? to find out, punch into the phone *#0000#
and just type here everything that comes up.
Have you got PC Suite installed on your computer? And if so, does the computer recognise the phone?

as mcbain suggested, key in *#0000# on the phone idle screen and give us all the info you see.

try checking if you have the following option:

Tools> Settings> Phone> Network> Network mode
If its set to Dual mode or UTMS, change it to GSM and see if it works
