Okay, here's what I want for my
n95 phone. It's an original
N95, none of that 8gb nonsense. Feel free to add your own.
1) I want the
gps tracking functionality back,
or I want a way to store google maps on my memory card
or I want tomtom to pull their fingers out and let me use the internal gps.
2) I want to be able to enter gps coordinates in degrees, minutes and seconds for better accuracy.
3) I want a
touchscreen.
4) I want nokmote.
5) I want the
iphone to just go away. It's a piece of rubbish. The only people who want one have no idea...
6) I want popular video file format support in the phone, such as .avi
7) I want
full flash support in the browser. Emtube is restricted to youtube, and youtube is owned by
the man, man. I want to be able to watch other video streaming sites.
8) Oh, and online flash games would be cool to. Imagine playing them with a touchscreen and stylus (drool).
9) I want the phone to stop telling me that I have the
network disconnected whenever I use the maps application. I know the network is disconnected. I disconnected the bloody thing. I'm using maps stored on the
memory card for crying out loud.
10) I want a proper flash, not just an led.
11) I want rotateme to spin the other way as well. I'm left handed. Is that a crime?
12) I want to use my phone as a TV remote.
13) I want to avoid that whole
symbiansigned nightmare.
14) I want a
firefox mobile internet browser.
15) And finally (for now) I want a
proper optical zoom lens. With a 5 megapixel camera, nokia could have made a bundle of money selling an aftermarket zoom lens. Much more money than they made selling navigation subscriptions after removing the tracking feature in maps.
