n73 unlock
I hope it is possible, I searched. I've been passed an n73 today in the hopes I can get it unlocked. I've seen the eBay 99p jobs but I don't really want to pay 99p or anything assuming they just get the info from google.
Anyone know how to go about this>?

I think you can use the same method as Unlocking the N95. Which is well documented on this forum.
My workmate did his N73 in about 5 mins, I'm almost 100% certain he used the same method as me.
You just need to find the right code, ie, for the N73, not N95, which will probably not be on this forum, but google it.

It's based on IMEI specific coding, so it's not something you'll find on Google
I'm not sure how legit those Ebay offers are, but contacting the network provider (Or various computer shops will also do it) will be your best bet

there might some sellers on ebay that will give you your money back if they can't find the code to unlock it. or you will need a kit to unlock it or just take it to a mobile store that does unlocking.

If you cannot get the unlock code from the respective network operator (for whatever reason), go to any independent phone shop/stall and they will do it for max. 20GBP.
There is no free or 99p solution, unlocking BB5 phones requires specialized (and relatively expensive) hardware, don't waste your time on Google or your money on dodgy websites.

Rapid Dr3am quite clearly asked for advice about unlocking.
Gavin is the one who got unlocking and debranding mixed up, Rapid Dr3am overreacted.
End of story and hopefully, end of thread, since I can't see anything constructive coming further out of it.
