My N95 8gb Vodafone nightmare

Hi everybody.

I have a N95 8GB and love it. Its been the best phone i have had in a long time. And vodaphone kindly removed the simlock too!

However i dont seem to be able to install any software..... "expired certificate"

I have tried Signing made EASY! - GenialSIS but i never get an activation email.

I have been told debranding would allow me to do this aswell?

I tried to flash my phone to the latest firmware yesterday and all that did was updat to the latest vodafone firmware.

Is this true?
And straight forward to do?

sonmbody help me :)

As has been said, alter the date on your phone by setting it back 6 months to a year (it varies with different apps), after the app is installed you can reset the phone to the correct date gain.

If you'd have used the SEARCH button, you'd have seen that many others are having the same problem... Because Symbiansigned.com is not yet operating fully... It's a matter of waiting for them to get their act together I'm afraid. :(

See the link in my sig for a guide on de-branding and upgrading firmware.

You need to re sign your applications files before you install them. U also need a certificate which you get from symbiansigned.com
