rogers has hsdpa in toronto and the surronding areas now, don't know anthing much about bell. Maybe hopefull eventually the n95 will come to rogers, but don't count on it happening anytime soon. I figure if it happens at all it will because nokia will force it on rogers to not let the iphone take over the market, but they do seem content hording their good stuff in Europe...

I did some research on 3g in Canada, and what I found out, is that 3g will be on 850mhz frequency in Canada, and N95 only supports 2100mhz for 3G. There are some phones now that support 3g on 850mhz, but rogers' 3g is so called 3.5g(HSDPA), and so far I don't know of any phone that is compatable with it, meaning that the phone supports 3.5g on 850 mhz.

I'm not an expert in this matter, so if I'm wrong please correct me, because I still have a little hope that I could use 3g in Canada on N95.

It's the amount of taxes plus brokerage fee. UPS uses their own broker so their brokerage fee is the highest i've seen.. like $30. With other shipping companies its usually like $5 or $10.
