Problem accessing the web on ATT
I'm unsure when this started to occur, but when I use the gmail installed app or the nokia browser, in gmail, I would get a 403 forbidden error, in the browser, when it tries to access the nokia us portal site, it would be a white screen with the exception of top portion, which I presume is a header. When I try to access my bookmark for google, it would route to Google as the m is for the mobile site again, just a white screen.
I've tried cleared my cache with no luck. I am able to use the nokia internet radio with no problems. i am able to browse via wireless with no issues. Any thoughts?
Thanks in advance.

unclear answer
I had that happening while I was in Austin and... I just had to restart the phone a few times.
I honestly think it was the web and not the phone, but... as for the problem you're having, I didn't catch whether other websites worked or not.
Are you using the native browser or something else? As for the native email program, did you get the right settings from the Nokia website? The username password combo for the built-in email app is weird, but once set up it works VERY well. Or is it the gmail JAVA app that you're trying to use? I found it easier just to use the phone's built-in mail program.
Maybe you solved the problem already...

I wish i had solved the problem. To answer your questions.
Gmail java app
native browser
also, i am unable to access my accounts via ifringe as it just sits at the login, please wait message. It is either with media net or the mms. Also, I checked my data usage for my account, 2gb of data with a week left for the month. I have not been charged any extra on my account since I have started using the n95 from the iphone.

I would try to create a duplicate AP using medianet..then modifying it by changing the homepage to "none", then go into advanced settings and change the proxy to "none" and proxy port number to "0". Name it what you want and try that..it may work

sadly none of the above recommendations work :( I'll finally cave in and call ATT to see what's the deal.

i called att a couple of days ago and talked to the rep and they mentioned that since the imei for the iphone is no longer active, i was no longer able to browse the web. with that said, i had to change my medianet plan off of the iphone to a 'regular' medianet plan, which saves me $5. Once that was changed and my imei provided to them and a transfer to their tier 2 support, i was able to start browsing again.
the iphone i had was sold to a friend of mine and he returned it to apple for a new one for no charge, so i presume the imei was removed from the sys. *shrugs*
Thanks for the assistance y'all.
