disappearing credit. Help!
Hi all,
My N95 is unlocked and was originally on Orange. I now use it on the o2 uk network although recently it has been eating my pay and go credit for some reason. I have checked all I can think of and made sure it is set to GSM and not GPRS but that dosent make any difference.
It`s like there is some sort of active line which I cant cancel. It dosent do it all the time, just occasionaly.
Any advice would be great.
Thanks

When you say credit, do you mean call credit or internet usage?

Are you sure SIP settings are set to when needed?

I waste minutes because i keep closing the slider thinking it hangs up the call. Only to discover hours later im still on the phone and have received a few "Hang Up" text messages!

Thanks for your replies.
I have made sure the SIP settings are set for when needed and it is call time that is the issue although the phone randomly does this by itself without me using/doing anything with it.
I have noticed that when it does this, the GSM network logo changes to the GPRS packet data connection active logo. It only does this randomly and for just a few seconds but it can take a good chunk of my calltime credit if I leave the phone on all day.
Like I said above, I have made sure the phone is set to GSM so why would this happen?
Thanks.

Make sure there is no default access point set, so that when it wants to make a connection, it will ask, and also set packet data to 'when needed' not 'when available'

Sounds like you need to install 'SlideHangUp' by OPDA.... ;)
