Three(3), O2, N95 8G- Choices, Please Help!

Hey There!

So I’ve been reading about all there is to read over the past few months about the N95 / 8G. The time is near for contract renewal and I have a Nokia in my sights, but having that bas*#@d ‘maximising’ type of personality I’ m still stuck with still too many choices. So I’ve narrowed it down to the following, and hoping for a wee bit of experienced input.

Three Mix n’ Match;
£35 for a locked N95 8G , 1100 Mix n’ match, free msn/skype etc and phone has not had the sip/voip abilities disabled to my belief? (not bothered about locked phones once I’m locked onto a contract)

O2 (who has just dropped to a 35 a month plan);
Online 35
1000 texts / 600 mins
Includes Unlimited Web Bolt On (200mb)

Problem is, although I’ve heard great things about o2, I don’t like the feel of their ... everything and their shops here in Edinburgh are tacky and horrible. And although I’ve read so much bad about three it’s the ‘little lamb in the green field’ – but that really means nothing – Just branding and marketing.

In reality, my pal’s who are on o2 always miss my calls, the phone rings (on my end I hear ringing), they don’t answer, I hang up, try 3 times or so and end up meeting up with them and they claim ‘I’ve not called at all, no missed calls’ – this is with more than one person on o2 and this has happened to other pal’s trying to call these ppl from their carriers – call’s ring but just... doesn’t..

Any other people experienced this? What carrier would you choose? O2’s offer is slightly better and 200mb a month would more than cover the msn I would use. But adding to that Three have the ability to log on and check avail mins , etc through the phone and the services Three offer free of charge would suit my use when not in range of wifi. Do o2 offer a service to check minutes, data usage etc on the phone visually? I wouldn’t want to go 201mb and start being charged without some sort of notification or at least being able to check form the phone the avail data usage left. EU call charges are decent on Three – also the price includes 150mins of video calls, something only used when out on the lash - but still a nice bonus.

Either carrier I need to sip/voip functionality – and ability to use msn on the go. Minutes / texts not a biggie as in the end – most calls will be over voip.

The final option that’s got me stuck – is if I should get the N95 at all .. maybe wait until the N96 with voip enabled is available on a contract – in which case do you think that it will be available on a relatively cheap plan??, I don’t see the need to go much over 35 a month when I use a lot of voip.

Will you upgrade to the N96 or are you just fine an’ dandy with your N95? So much for what I thought would bee just a wee’ post and a small question.. any input will be appreciated thou!
