Three or o2 ?

Hi.

Im not sure of who to go with either Three, because i know people with them and say the service is great, but ive also read bad things about them on the internet so im quite sure.
And with three the current installed firmware on the n95 8gb is v20 (isnt v21 the latest?). And im not sure about the installed firmware on the handset with o2.

Or o2, i have not heard anything against them and also the £35 tariff with free bolt on (i would go for web) sounds quite good.

I also would like insurance because the phone im going for N95 8gb is quite expensive should i have to pay for it if it breaks or gets stolen etc.

Web is a must so three look pretty good as theyre fair usage is at 1gb wheras i think o2 is 250mb which is pretty measly.

So what do you suggest?.

Thanks

It all depends on what you are after with your Tarrif.

Personally I am with 02. I got mine from the web as it had a better deal that in store.

For £30 a month I get
400 free minutes
1000 free texts
All 02 calls free
1mb Data

I very very rarely use the internet on my phone as I have so many other options so didn't see the point in paying for this. If I am desperate, it is normally for low data stuff such as a quick check of my E-mail, sending a recording to my Sky+ box etc. I have only once gone over the limit and it cost me £7. Other times I try and use WiFi wherever I am.

This Tarrif is perfect for me - I feel I got more for my money than anyone else was offering. The Free 02 calls did help swing it though since that is who my wife uses and she is who I call most often!

I assume this is 'promotions' all the time?
What promotions? I haven't had anything from them yet outside of my standard contract....

There is a lot of free minutes and free text every month and now they give away some free video calling minutes they call it O2 treat ..I dont know how they choose whom to give it to but I get a text message every month and I have to dial 2211 and get it.

Me personnly have been with 3 for a few years now and not really had any problems....

But if you decide to go with 3 try and get a three phone/borrow one and make sure it works inside your house and place of work as there has been some talk on here of people buying on the three network only to find the phone does not work (well they get a very poor signal) in there own home but go outside of the house and your fine...

Three also give you free MSN messenger with all there new tariffs check there web site for what you get......

MSN is great for me....

i was with three and the reasons i left them was the n95-1 took so long to come out and reception wasnt that good, obviously that depends on where you live. i went to o2 and got n95-1 for free(last august) my tariff is 1200 minutes 1000 texts and 2000 cross network long weekend minutes,Like most people i have tried most networks i think o2 customer in my experence is the best for customer service

Go for three

I was with 02 for 2 years until i had a problem with the handset and they could'nt be bothered to help me out with anything, personally i think there customer service is appaling. Ok with three there is a bit of a language barrier with the customer service but i do find them very helpfull with sorting any problems out. Ive been with three now for 18months and i will be renewing my contract with them.
