Which T-Mobile data plan for MSN Usage

hi peoples.

I've recently been looking at messenger solutions for my N95, and pretty much settled on IM+ (until Jivetalk is released on Symbian). Sadly of course, T mobile web'n'walk doesn't allow messenger services.

so, is anyone else on T-mobile (UK) and using any IM applications? if so, which data plan are you on? I've had a look at the T-mobile site but it isn't very clear on which (if any) packages support/allow IM usage.

You need web n walk plus otherwise it wont work they blocked the ports months back. I have fring and it now works fine on web n walk plus :)

As dtm says, web and walk plus will allow you to use messenger. Roughly about another fiver a month.

Don't let them tell you that you have to wait till your next billing date either. It can be done immediately!

spoken to T-mobile and they are insisting that it can't be done until the next billing date..end of the month!!!

Another fine example of the networks stitching us up on data usage...

Is this even legal? So on Web-n-walk, it used to work, then they blocked the IM ports and charge you an extra fiver to go to a plan that they haven't blocked them on? That sucks!

I know this be of no help to you but, when i got my contactfrom a t mobile store. the very helpful lad who sold me the package got everything unblocked, i can use MSN on normal web n walk, so it can be done...

Mine was done within 5 mins of calling (if that) and I was in the middle of my monthly billing cycle.

Yeah mine was done straight away they just said the would bill me the difference depending on how many days where left in the month
