Destroy Idiot Net-Provider App

Hi this is my first post, and I had doubts posting it here as it could fall under any of the following categories:
software hacks
third party apps
and this one I guess.

Enought newby apologizing... My idiotic network provider has install a dumb application by which the upper left button now reads 'PERSONAL' (the name of the telecom owned service provider in Argentina). Next to it on the right it says 'Messaging'.

Every time I click the "PERSONAL" button, the browser is launched and the ugly personal-wap site is displayed. Obviously this is ruining my every day experience with my n95 as I am force to:
--watch the stupid PERSONAL button on my otherwise very nice screen.
--hit accidentally the button and go to the ugly wap site made for ugly phones.
-- etc.

When I try to remove a 'PERSONAL' awful icon that appears in applications an which I think will remove my front-screen button as well (but I am not sure) a warning message appears saying that it cannot remove the 'Personal' application.

1) Is there any one here from argentina and also a computer scientist like my self who before me has dealt with this issue already? :-)

2) If not, then is there anyone here who could help me out, is there a way to login as root (also ubuntu user :-) ) or something of the sort to get rid of this application and regain my front-screen button.

3) If impossible to remove, can I at least reclaim the front-screen button some how?

Thanks,
f(t)

Thanks, I don't know what debranding is but I assume is the process of making the phone free from a tight to a particular provider which sometimes is a hardware hack, that you could get on some dark gallery store in buenos aires, no doubt. But processes like that would void my warranty for certain and that is not recommended for me.

Click on the link in my sig below where it says click here for N95 Tips

Page 2 is all about debranding, and a good guide on how to do it.

Debranding does indeed void your warranty.

Send a message via MSN to TroHax
Have you tried to move your "personal" button to any other folder? for example move it into the "tools" folder and then into "connectivity" Well, That's what I did to remove my network provider off my main menu.

Note: It wasn't on the top right or left of the menu, it was at the bottom, but it annoyed me anyways.

Maybe this is me being stupid, but what about just changing what the left button does?
(Can't believe anyone hasn't mentioned this)
That way it won't go to the wap browser?

Tools -> Settings -> General -> Personalisation -> Standby Mode -> Shortcuts

This will then allow you to change what the left button opens when you press it.
It will at least remove it from the front screen.
