Temporary Service in Europe

Hi everyone,

I am going to be studying in Paris for 4-5months and bringing my n95 with me. Can anyone suggest me to a good service plan, maybe pre-paid?

I will be traveling quite a bit to different parts of Europe also, so it would be nice to have something that works throughout the area.

Lastly, international calls to US would be wonderful.

Thanks!

Get one there from one of the major cell providers over there..not sure who the big names are in france. If it's like Spain or Italy they're available everywhere

You can pre-paid sims in just about any shop in Paris. Don't buy at the airport, wait until you get into Paris and buy from one of the thousands of 'Phone Portable' shops.
I use Bouygtel (pronounced bweegtel) when I'm in France, but all others (Orange, Vodaphone, T-Mobile) are available. You can top up your credit in just about any shop in France!

I think Orange do one with an English option if your French is not up to it! Ask in the shop.
