Are SFR and Vodaphone one and the same?

Hi,
I've just got a new contract with SFR in France but I see Vodaphone apps on my phone. Are they the same company with different names for marketing reasons or do they have some kind of partnership agreement.

Can anyone throw some light on the issue?

SFR vodafone - Google Search

From the looks of google they are, Vodafone could be the parent company maybe?

I have SFR and their online service is called "Vodaphone Live", so I assume they are pretty much the same.
