Hey Cozz,
I'm an
N95-3 user on Rogers as well, so I can tell you what I've found out.
The $7 browsing package, when used with a phone bought from Rogers, includes html pages. Yours isn't Rogers bought, so you are not eligible for this plan any more. There have been some reports of people getting away with it but since you have what Rogers considers a grey market phone, you most likely will be charged per kb for any
N95-3 use.
Also, that plan includes nothing but web browsing, so even if you did buy the phone from Rogers Nokia Maps, Opera Mini, Flickr uploads etc would be charged at per kb rates. Again, some people claim that they get away with this by using the gorogers access point, but if they get burned with a huge data bill, they only have themselves to blame.
The ONLY solution for you to cover all of your data usage is the $30 6GB plan. As for myself, I just use wifi and pay the per kb cost if I absolutely need to check email or the web on the road.
If you want to read up further, the Rogers subforum at howardforums.com has a lot of info on the various data options. Good luck with whatever you choose.
