Thumbs up Firmware 11.0.0.26 Finally available For T-Mobile UK

Just to let T-Mobile UK users know, the latest firmware update should now be available for anyone with the 0549533 product code.

I shall be updating mine as soon as I get in.

About bloody time too!

Yeah - I updated using the NSU yesterday afternoon (after 5pm) with this - no problems so far. Annoyingly though still not able to switch to silent profile using the # key.

Also upgraded mine yesterday without any problems at all.

My unfixed annoyance is the Dialled Numbers log. On my 6680, I got a different icon depending on whether I had dialled a landline or a mobile (i.e. two different numbers stored under one contact), but on the N95 I only ever see the mobile icon. Gngh!

Stuart

Yes, that is annoying. Also, it still only has Flash Lite 2.0 installed instead of Flash Lite 2.1 and it cannot be updated because Flash Lite 2.x is already installed. :-(

I'm most annoyed because I can't re-load my backup I made before flashing !

I'm using the backup thing from nokia pc suite and it just errors when I select the backup :( :(
Is there any other way to restore my backup?
I don't want to be entering all my numbers again !
I don't know them for one thing, lol

Are you sure? I always assumed that the built-in Nokia version was 2.1 too - it doesn't display version info.

If you look in Applications > Flash Player, then Options and About, it tells you that its version 2.0 :)

I'm really happy with the update. The menus load noticeably faster, and the camera shutter lag has all but disappeared.

Very impressed

Me too, and I feel a warm glow for having waited for the official t-mobile update instead of invalidating my warranty :)
Just had to get rid of that web&walk icon by turning on the animated icons (I noticed on mates voda that he's not got animation on his !)
