Yes what LittleJohny is saying is correct. Any tri band or quad band phone usually will work here in Canada. It needs to support the local frequency (not sure what it is in Canada off the top of my head). All you need to do is buy it unlocked, sign up with Rogers and put your SIM card in the unlocked phone. The Nokia settings wizard that comes with the
n95 does a great job of configuring all the Rogers data access points. The only thing youll need to do is manually put in the Voice mailbox phone number, which u can get online, from rogers, or by looking at any other rogers customer's phone settings.
Fido is owned by Rogers so to get on Fido is the same process.
I use my
n95 on rogers and it works flawlessly.
