Hi people so i just got my n95 a couple hours ago. its so legit i love it. except i cant seem to get my gps to work on it. I have no idea why im guessing it my be my operator but then again who knows. Any suggestions?
You need to install maps first, so download Nokia Map loader to your PC and load your local maps.
Then go outside, open the slide and maps application on the handset. You should get a lock, but note the first ever lock can take 10-15 minutes to get. After this locks should be within a few minutes tops.
Also, make sure you are using the latest firmware to employ the AGPS option. Lock times are significantly faster with AGPS- I've yet to have a lock take longer than 15 seconds.
errr so i encountered a really irratating problem recently with my phone.. Im not sure if it is the servise or not.. But yes i have t-mobile usa. So here is my problem now.. My txt messging sux.. For example I send a message and a person might not receive the message i sent for a good 45 min or so. But sometimes they get it immideatily.. other times a friend will send me a text and I wont get it for a good hour or so.. Whats the fix to this problem??

I dont think its my carrier my friends have the same carrier and i have even passed down some of my old phones that i had that exact problem with and they dont expirence it.. I really think it may have to do with my sim card maybe its outdated?
