Are T-Mobile UK ever going to get firmware 12 sorted out?

It took a month or so for v11 for appear, but frankly I'm getting a bit impatient waiting for them to roll out v12, and am just wondering if anyone here has any inside info regarding when and even if T-Mobile are planning on releasing it?

If not I guess I'll have to go down the NSS route...

i know it's annoying...

i have phoned them a couple of times to ask, but they never have any information regarding a release date, or even if it ever will be released.

The guy i spoke to did say that changing the product code WOULD invalidate the warranty though, but he might just have been saying this...

Looking through some of the other posts on here and elsewhere, T-Mobile may be holding off with the firmware roll out as V12.xx appears to have caused almost as many bugs as it has fixed.

Think I'll hold off for the time being...

Im not on T-mobile but having the same problem with orange. I have just found out that my 95 doesn't have A-GPS and i can't get it until dear old orange decide to get there fingers out and release the next version. I don't know why the networks insist on adding there own software to the phones, most of the time it just makes the phone run slow and eats up the battery life.

You could try debranding the device so you can upgrade, although you will lose your warranty on the phone (If still applicable)

My T-Mobile handset was shipped to me with V12 installed. How odd. I really want to debrand and upgrade to v20 but am worried about losing 3.5 functionality (I read one post on some other debranding blog that this happened to someone, now I'm scared! :O ) so if anyone on TmobUK has debranded, please let me know if everything is ok afterwards! :)

I had v12 installed along time ago (T-Mobile) and it wasn't shipped like that, i upgraded it. Now i'm on unbranded v20.
