Changing your product code though will invalidate your warrenty, but then you can change it back after updating.

I've just received my replacement O2 phone after I cracked the screen on the other and I was surprised to find out that it's v11 and has no O2 screensaver or branding lol.
I updated the previous one to version 12 without any problems as well :)

My O2 N95 from the Carphone Warehouse was unlocked and contained no obvious branding but did have an O2 Operator Variant code.

Hmmm....interesting, I'm currently updating the firmware on the new phone O2 delivered to me as a replacement and the code is set to EURO1 already.....makes life easier for me but seems odd, would appear O2 get their replacement phones from somewhere else other than their shop stock

I just had o2 call me about this, the lad said it does exist released branded v12 firmware. I checked again and nothing so he's going to call me tomorrow and get someone to bring a new phone to my house to be swapped.

Got my confirmation package number today, so I wonder why my phone won't take the update?
