Phones4u Nokia n95 offer

When i got my N95 a couple of months back, i shopped about a bit and found out that phones4u would transfer over my vodaphone contract, give me the N95. Unfortunately this was only available on a £50 contract, this was too much for me, and said i didnt want it. keen to sell me the phone he said fine, i will give you £20 cash back so in theory you have only paid £30 for your first month of the contract, come back in next month and we will change you tarriff to a £30 one, i went back exaclty a month later and lo and behold and i quote

"vodaphone have now changed there policy so that tarriffs cannot be amended before 6 months after the contract was started"

I am now stuck with a £50 tarriff, luckily its not too much of a problem and i can pay it, but i checked up on the information this sales rep told me and it was complete lies. vodaphone had not recently amended there policy, it has been like this for well over 12 months,

so yeh, as you can understand, im not best please with phones4u, has anyone else experienced lies or deceit like this from phones4u?

If i ever meet "Paul" from the Southampton phones for you (just outside of wet quay) im gonna let him know my opinion!! haha,

Cheers,

Anton

Phones4u are just annoying. I told them I didn't want a 3 or Orange contract so they tried 3 times to sell me both, looked confused when I walked out.
