Hello. I've been having a problem with some internet connections I have not made. I was charged by TIM Italy with a load of supposed data accesses worth 80 euros, and that's how they made me aware of their *******y policy of not stopping charges even if you run out of pre-paid credit. They made an extraordinary refund, so I didn't have to pay that, but they warned me for the next time.
Today, while using Podcasts, I found out my naughty little
n95 connecting to the EDGE network when I was even on a wifi spot (I try only to connect through those). I had to stop it twice. I had installed Shozu and Podcasts, and I would blame them, even though I configured them only to access through hotspots. That's what annoys me the most.
Today I disinstalled podcasts because after charging it with 10 euros two days ago, now I ran out of credit. I honestly don't know what I'm doing wrong, when I connect to the internet, I always pick an AP and no other way of access.
Is there a way of blocking any UMTS - EDGE data connection AT ALL?
