Looking for the most optimal way to upgrade my old phone to N95 (AT&T)

Hello everyone! This is my first post and I’m hoping to find good advice here from Mobile-World-Gurus how to upgrade my phone from old Samsung SGH427 to N95-3.

My existing Samsung has 32K SIM card and I was told by AT&T sales representative that newest models phones are using 64 K SIM card. So, if I buy N95-3 unlocked will I be able to use my existing SIM card or I have to upgrade my phone first to any free phone to get new SIM card and then I can us it in N95?
Do N95 features depend on what type of SIM card is installed?
Is anything special I need o known during this upgrade?

Any advice will be greatly appreciated!

I don't think it's an issue. I'm still using the same SIM card back from 2001... Just go get yourself an unlocked phone from a reputable dealer and slot it in. If you're having problems you might have to call your provider to have them tinker with your account a bit, but that's really it.

Agree totally with Lazy. I have an old AT&T sim card (before the merger with Cingular) and it works.

I didn't know there was a difference in relation to SIM cards and their age(apart from 3G ones) but i'm using the same sim from 1997 and never once had a problem.
