Tmob UK - Answerphone Number?

Can anyone tell me the Tmob UK Answerphone number please?

This is the one that is displayed when you hold the '1' key down to pickup voicemail.

Thanks

It varies - mine is +44069 then the mobile number.

Dial 222 from your handset, and it will send you the settings.

Interesting ... it used to be +447987102321 as standard. That doesn't work now though for me.

Although dialling 222 forces a network message to my handset, it does not alter the settings for v/mail (even after a reboot).

I have now spoken to TMob and at the third attempt, they gave the correct number; similar to the above but starting +44067 .....

Thanks drpaulos!

Wink

Hi,
I don't know if this works yet (My N95 doesn't arrive till tomorrow... I cant wait! ).. anyway I was told that the default answer phone costs to collect your messages (outside your included minutes) but you could get around it by setting up a pin number to collect your messages and set your answer-phone number to your mobile number. that way when you press the answer-phone button (I assume 1 as it has been that on all my previous phones) you will get forwarded to your own mailbox (as you are on the phone..) where you can enter your pin to collect your messages for free !!

Hopefully this is true....

Cheers
Mark.

I have to say that I was surprised to see that they charge 12p per message. Just about everything else is included in my Flext+Webnwalk package.

I will check it out, as a way of avoiding the message retrieval charges would be nice.

Hmmm, I checked the cost of retrieving v/mail while on the phone and after checking my plan (Flext35 w&w) I was advised that this was taken out of my inclusive credit...

Edit: Just checked and showing no charges for voicemail usage in the past (while using the +447987102321 number)

spyda,

It was included in my previous talk plan (flex35+w&w) but when I renewed today I was told that it was no longer included in the "new" flex35+w&w.. not sure what else is "new" about it though..

I just tried retrieval without the 069 number. It worked fine, but the bill hasn't updated yet. Will monitor.

Sounds odd! It might be an idea to find out what else has changed - before you get any nasty surprises!

I will double check too - I rarely go with the first answer when raising a query with TMob Customer Services!

From what I can see on the e-bill, dialling the straight mobile number without the 067 / 069, etc does work, and indeed is treated as included in the Flext allowance.

Many thanks to shades66 for the advise!
