02 Billing

I have just received my second bill from 02. I have their online talk 30 tarrif which is £30 a month.

Now when I logged on to the website and checked my bill, I was initially shocked at some of the charges (considering my free minutes/texts). Then I noticed an adjustment for the free stuff (although this was more than the charges!

After taking everything into account, my final bill is £25.99 (inc tax). Now I am not complaining, but how come my bill is £4.01 LESS than my contract tells me I have to pay (not that I am going to ask 02 this!!!!)

Hi All,

You can find a nice application that can assist you with your bill control.I just installed it in my N95 .
The Application can control in real time your mobile charges according to your tariff instead of waiting to your bill.
The only problem is that the application was updated with Eurotariff rates for voice calls and SMS..

You can download the application free from :

PBC-Eurotariff 1 by PBC-Mobile - Handango Nokia N95 (S60 3rd Edition) Software

If you have more question i will be glad to help you.

Enjoy
David

Maybe it's a part bill. Like if you are being billed from 16th to the 15th of each month and you signed up on the 20th. So they minus 4 days from the bill?

Even after an upgrade, the first bill from O2 always looks odd. I would give them a call. Prepare yourself for a mind boggling explaination!

Comedy is just about saying stupid things cleverly, or is it clever things stupidly... Anyway, it's not rocket surgery.

My first bill had a couple of days added - seems that they started a day or 2 early.

Will wait until my 3rd bill to see what is going on though :)

As above its probably related to starting a new tarriff/upgrade etc.. O2 have a tendancy to make their bills silly complex, charging a month in advance for things (ie first line rental is usually 2 months) although i cant fault their customer service..

recently i changed from the 20mb browsing for £10 per month to the "unlimited for £7.50 - they were suppost to remove the 20mb package 1 month later and re-credit the cost.. they didnt do this, so i called them up, they apologised, sorted the billing out, and gave me a £35 credit to cover the 12quid or so that id overpaid them by :)
