I just hope they don't have call centre staff putting these firmware updates together, I doubt we'd ever see one!

Have you complained to them about it? I did, don't know what good it will do but the more the better I guess.

I mentioned it to them, I know how little complaining gets you when you call someone 3000 miles away, they end the call and don't care, so what's the point in wasting my breath? They will release it when they can be bothered .... 3, good prices, but don't expect much back up!

I sent them an email about it. A few days later someone calls me, he had no idea what product codes were and what it meant, I had to educate him. He said he'd pass on the request...

As far as I know there is a call centre in the UK, but it's a miracle to actually get through to it, but I think you can ask, I doubt they'd tell you that this is possible but if you kicked up enough fuss.... I've just learnt to be patient with 3 - to be frank, what other choice do I have?!

Folks, Just a quick question. I upgarded to the v20 firmware on three, and I noticed the Skype app seems different, as it allows me to choose a WLAN access point now, instead of only the 3 access points.
Is this changed? Or did i miss it on my old firmware?
The problem is though, even if i use the WLAN connection it doesn't sign in. Just says signing in for ages. i know i can use fring instead, but i am curious if anyone uses the skype app installed by 3 via WLAN?
The new firmware is great btw, the camera is so much quicker, WLAN connection is perfect without having to manually change the advanced settings, batter lasts for a lot lot longer now.

I'm not sure... I don't use Skype but I think I read somewhere they were limiting it at one stage to their own APs...
I tried clicking on the link to see where it took me (using WLAN) and it went nowhere...
