3 branded handsets update??
Does anyone know approximately when the upgrade for 3 branded handsets is likely to come out?
If I debrand, knowing my luck the SOB will die for some completely unrelated reason killing the warranty

Have you tried e-mailing them at all,you never know you may get an answer thats of some help?

OK here's what I've sent from their contact page:
Please detail your enquiry or question I have a 3 Branded Nokia N95:
I can't upgrade my phone's firmware to the latest release because 3 haven't approved it for use with their product code.
Action you would like taken:
3 to approve their N95 product to allow N95 users to upgrade their firmware from version 12.0.014 to version 20.0.15. |

yeah mate will do, I'm not 100% sure it went through, so I might try again tomorrow and if they don't reply after a week, might bug 'em again..

Are you sure its 12.0.014?
Mines 12.0.013 on 3 Branded!
Let me know - how u get along. I need to upgrade mine - without debranding my 3 mobile.

i know its a risk but i could not be more glad that i debranded and upgraded my three n95-1
The keypress bug when writing sms's was really getting to me and now its gone. Also with the memory improvements etc its well worth it.
Your risk and your decision of course, i just remember how long it took three to release the updated firmware for the n80 |
