Arrow Three....mobile internet sim?

Hi,
Before I got my N95 I got a Three mobile USB modem (at £10 per month for 1GB)
I have the unlimited (so they say) internet package...but now have been told that the fair usage policy is 1GB per month. So my question is....can I use the sim card from my USB modem if i run short on data to tide me over?

McBrucie

It is on terms and conditions that the fair use policy is 1gb. If your contract for the N95 is also with 3, for an extra 5 pounds you also have 1gb. Now I'm not sure you can use your mobile as a modem in conjunction with your PC (well you can but three won't allow it, i think - they will charge you for the data if they find out that you re using the n95 as a modem)

The Danish 3 site even explains how to use PC Suite to connect to the internet from your Pc with the N95 as a modem. works like a charm btw. with up to 7.2 Mbit/s

I've just ordered a 3 PAYG SIM, and you can get the unlimited Internet add on for £5 a month.

Much better than the £8 Orange are currently charging me for Unlimited capped at 30mb! I'll just swap the SIM out in my N95 if I need to tether to my lappy.

Three say that you shouldn't use the internet add on for tethering, but I'm not going to kick the backside out of it, and won't shed a tear should they collar me. Cant see them being overly concerned if you dont take the michael.

I just ordered from their website, £9.99 for the SIM, and it comes with £10 credit I think. Once all activated, you login to their site, and buy the internet add on for a month.

My SIM is arriving tomorrow apparently.
