PAYG = Pay As You Go, PREPAID where you pay up front for 'credit' and once you run out you run out, no extra charges.
When you are about to run out is when you usually purchase some more credit.

No no no start again mcbain. PAYG and prepaid are the same thing. Pay MONTHLY is when you get bills and are stuck ina contract!

Yeah, but the point is theres no much 3 could do if I went over my data allowance. They couldnt exactly charge me if I had no credit eh?

If you use up the credit on your PAYG card you'd be cut off - voice or data, no difference - no credit -> no network usage.

Yeah they should have, how are you supposed to know REALLY how much you are using? They're bang out of order, it happened to me to! I had a £200 bill!
