O2 Tariff's
Can you believe this!?
I'm on a 18mth £35pm tariff which gives me 600mins and 500texts plus long weekend text which if I recall was just some more texts at weekends.
I look at their tariffs online tonight, and they do the same tariff I have now but you can now choose to have unlimited text (which is a lie, its a limit of 2000 text pm, but still better then what I'm on)!
Secondly, I pay an additional £10 a month to have 20mb of data. Again I look online at their bolt ons and for £7.50pm you can have unlimited data (which is a lie, its 200mb pm, but still better then what I'm on)!
So I've just e-mailed them to ask if they can:
- remove the 'Long Weekend Text'
- add the 'Unlimited Text'
- remove the '20mb for £10pm'
- add the 'Unlimited Web O2 for £7.50pm'
I know there is no reason for them to tell me about new tariffs, but blimey, I'm getting screwed over - especially on the data!

Im on £25 a month for 125 anytime any network minutes, 500 texts, and 160mb data. Not too bad, but I bet I wont get that next contract. Its not exactly available for most people.
Unless vodafone get some decent 3G coverage I might have to move anyway.
A favourite of networks and (BT for various things) is to say that 'we cover 90% of the population.'
However, population means that they cover large cites, and still leave vast amounts of the county uncovered.

Only thing with O2's Data is that they can be so far out of date on billing! So yeah, you might use exactly 200mb in a month according to your logger, but they might only see 150mb, then whack the other 50mb on the next month.
By their own admission, having queried odd data charges, they are several days and sometime over a week out on Data billing!
