where did 3.5g go?

i remember my n95 8gb would access the mobile internet on voda and i would get a 3.5g symbol in the left hand corner but after debranding my handset and updating to newest fw this no longer happens. Can someone explain why this is?

Have you enabled it?

Menu -> Tools -> Settings -> Connection -> Packet data -> High speed packet access -> Enabled

i think this is what happened to me. However it could be a network thing. i thought i lost the 3.5g for good til it appeared once on saturday......and i never saw it again ....yet

for some reason High speed packet access aint in my menu? :S :S

thanks, it seems i have to enable utms mode in order to use it otherwise it doesnt show up in the menu if GSM is enabled. thats weird :S

happy days last week when i started seeing the 3.5G symbol when using the n95 as a modem for my laptop, seems three have upgraded the network in my area :D
