Arrow Three Unlimited Internet

I was just on the phone to see how I could find how much data I have used (as I believe there is a fair use policy of 1GB with three) The operator said that there was no way to find this out but I would get a text when I reached 1.5GB! so it looks as if they have upped the data allowance by 0.5GB.....

Can anyone confirm if this is the case?>

I cant confirm if you're right or not, but I am on pay upfront and only put £10 in. I added the mobile internet for £5 a month.I think 3 realised I was using the phone as a modem and took the rest of my credit away. Otherwise i was calling folk in my pocket, i dunno.

3 dont seem to mind if u go overboard but in the t&c's it does say to you will contacted should you go over the limit.

I sit 3 weeks after my 1st £5 monthy bundle was put on, have downloaded huge files, and yet no-ones contacted me. And how could they? Its a pay upfront sim and they dont even know my gender, name, address, nothing!!!!!!!!!!!!

Works for me. Remember the t&c

unlimited = unlimited, or your service can f.o.
its pathetic how users are getting screwed over by deals which claim to offer which they DO NOT.

Unfortunately it's now accepted that unlimited means capped, calling it unlimited is a con that telcos look like getting away with! :(

As regards the OP, I would be inclined to interpret it as meaning that if you exceed the capped limit of 1GB by half a GB, then you will get a warning. Usually to tell you to cut back or saying that if you don't do that, then you need to be placed on a higher, more expensive limit.

I've recently moved to Three and have taken them up on their 1 GB of data for a fiver a month deal. At no point did anyone tell me that this was an unlimited package. Interestingly, I've now got a decent signal in an area less than twenty miles from London where Vodafone have no coverage.

In my experience three have never pulled me up when i only used the phone for the internet. I used to use it heavily on contract and had no problems.
