im on vodafone and whilst i get decent 3G coverage in my area (close to heathrow airport) i do think that they need to pull their finger out

decent data plans and overall tarriffs are needed, my contract will be ending in a few months so i need to keep an eye out for decent deals... will be keeping the N95 obviously

I'm with Orange, on Dolphin 35. I have been scouring the net trying to find out how much data usage is. I pay an extra £8 for 30mb per month. I've rung them, and apparently I've used 57mb already this month. I know there is a £1.50 daily cap on data usage, but what my next bill is going to be, god knows.

1gb for a tenner from three cannot be beaten - this is ok for use as a broadband modem for your computer too. Since the net was upgraded in my area i get between 1.5 and 3Mb/s now. I've only got 2MB adsl at home !!

fernando: make sure you get a look at your data under "tools -> log -> packet data' so you can see how much you've used. thats one way to keep an eye on it. For orange browsing, I'd recommend the evening + weekend internet bundle which appears to save you a lot more money and is an added fiver (from memory!)

Yep, Calmitys right, evenings and weekends on Orange is better. in my experience I never went 'over' as such....(well when I actually had the bundle, which wasnt very long cause they never put the thing on half the time!)

However last month I told them where to stick all their bundles, bought a 3 pay as you go sim, put £10 in it and I am using it on my phone PC, everything! No problems. Hassle changings sims i know, but if you really want to....
