Battery Problems (again)
This happened a while ago too, and i reformatted my phone, i want to avoid this if possible this time.
Whats happening is every 30 seconds, my phones engery level goes up past 1 watt for a couple of seconds, according to the Nokia Energy Profiler. It's usually around 0.19. As it goes up to over 1 watt every 30 seconds, my battery lasts like a day, if that.
Last time it happened i was unsure what the cause was, but it seemed to come from connecting to a WLAN, and somehow not visibly, it kept trying to connect, even though i wasn't in range of it.
This time i'm certain this is the cause. I connected to a wireless network in a hotel, then came off it, but it kept re-connecting, even after me disconecting from it. As i am now out of range, it seems like its looking for the WLAN, but obviously it can't find it.
In the connection manager, then in active data connections, there it was, it was still trying to connect to the network. I disconected from there, but it is still going up above 1 watt every 30 seconds, even after restarting my phone. Nothing is running that wasnt before in JBAK either.
How can i solve this? Is there some setting somewhere that is activly scanning for that certain WLAN network?
Phone: N82 v20.
