For all you N81 8GB owners who have been stuck on V11, for what appears to be a lifetime (myself included), V21 is now available for all product codes via the Nokia Software Updater.

No change Log at this time, but will update tomorrow.

Above article updated to include the following..

As you can see from the image above, I have now installed V21 onto my N81 8GB. I can confirm improvements to both Navi Wheel, resulting in smoother, more positive feedback, and also now, the N81 gets N96 style Transitions, with smooth glide menu navigation cursor, maximize, and minimize menu opening, and closures. Very impressive.

I have also noticed, that now, when you open up the gallery, it automatically opens up viewing in landscape mode, and enables Navi Wheel smooth navigation through your various images, and videos.

As to the camera, there is obviously still no auto-focus, and as of yet, cannot find any improvements within the camera function, still quite poor, which is a shame.

Bluetooth, and Wlan however appear to have been improved dramatically, with improvements to being able to find devices much further away than before. Bluetooth now, finds a couple of my neighbours handsets, which it did not before, and WIFI seems much more stable.
