Dual Sim Card Adapter
got my dual sim adapter today and it worked great! it switches between two sim cards with no problem... but after switching to the other number don't play with the phone until it has booted up the other sim card completely... just give it a minute so your phone won't hang. dual sim menu will automatically pop up and it's easy to use. very happy with the product. please check out my flickr pictures for more descriptions and comparison with the battery covers. fits with the n95 8gb battery cover well. sp00k snapped his fixing tabs when trying on his n95-1 but it fits on my n95-1 ok so it's up to you to try it on n95-1..

Does it work with 3G cards, Dayene?
EDIT: Terrific! I just snapped two fixing-tags off my N95-1 battery-door, testing to see if a sim-card will fit on top of the battery... Needless to say, it won't! :(

umm, that i don't know because i'm with t-mobile and doesn't have 3g. the cingular sim is not activated (just for testing) so i wouldn't know. :) but i think it would work when you switch it to your sim that has 3g. i bought the adapter for $6 so i got nothing to lose. :)

Mmm, It's annoying isn't it? I have an English and a Swedish sim, I tend to keep the one I am not using under my battery, but I have, over time, lost a fixing tag too... I suspect it may not be a one off. I guess I should try to get a new door. |

VERY annoying, especially as Nokia altered the design of the fixings on the later models!

Excellent work and nice set of photos. The dual-sim will very likely not work with 3-G since the radio has to be compatible, not the sim. Nonetheless, good to use a dual sim adapter though. |
