Having just had my Proporta arrive, (along with some Earl Grey Tea lol) Im now on the look out for a suitable case. Yes, I know, I should of ordered one from Proporta at the same time, but i forgot.

So what have you got if you don't use the original Proprta case? Ive been looking at the iPod cases, but not sure if the sizes are right, hence why I'm asking here for recommendations.

What do you mean, your 'proporta'? Proporta is a company that makes all sorts of cases and peripherals.

Are you talking about the portable charger? If so, I found the velvety sleeve that came with my iPod 30GB is a perfect snug fit...and it's black too. :)

What for, dude? It's already covered in nice white plastic? OK I admit, Mine it's often mistaken for an iPod, which is slightly embarracing, but it'e perfectly protected as it stands...

Mine's taken plenty of punishment and looks no different from the day it arrived. Save your money :)

Yes, that's the beastie I was talking about too.

Height and width are almost identical to an iPod, but it is slightly deeper. Provided you don't go for a case moulded to the precise dimensions of an iPod (like the aluminium ones), I'd imagine there's a fair chance that it would fit - maybe a bit tight, but leather should be flexible enough to adapt.
