Would carrying a Proporta charger in a case with magnet fastening damage the battery?
Does anyone know if carrying, or storing a proporta charger in a leather case with magnet fastening damage it in any way? Its just that Ive found a case I had lying about here, and it fits the Proporta charger perfectly, but don't want to risk damaging the battery you see.
Any advice greatly appreciated.

Well, I'm not a chemist or a physicist, but...
Electromagnets require electricity to run...and presumably one can get portable battery powered ones...so, one assumes that the magnetic field generated by the electromagnet does not interfere in any way with the battery powering it.
So my money says it won't cause any problems. But then again, it's not my money we're talking about here, is it...

Most of the time if not all the time magnets won't mess with batteries. Not really familiar with the proporta charger butif it's got a battery in it the magnet shouldn't cause any problems especially since I'm assuming it's not a very strong magnet anyway. Magnets also won't mess with charging circuits either unless you've got a case with a super magnet on it I wouldn't worry

Cheers fella, feeling a little more comfortable in using the case i have then in that case, pardon the pun. Just purchased an iPhone case on eBay not knowing I already had this magnet case lying around. The one from ebay is without magnets.
