OEM means original equipment manufacturer. original casings simply said. they're of the highest grade, won't scratch or colour fade easily and all.

Should be noted that OEM is often used by sellers on aforementioned popular auction site to try and suggest their housings are genuine. Which they arent 99.99999999% of the time.

EDIT: Seems I didn't see there was a page 2, and was beaten to it several times... - lol

Black Housing

They're kind of expensive, but they have them here:

Nokia N95 OEM black full housing- Alcatel, Motorola, NEC, BenQ-Siemens, Accessories Store, Microsoft, Nokia, Panas

They also have the blue, red and pink ones. They are good quality and I've ordered stuff from them before, but they take a little while to ship as well.

ok so do we know if they are truly OEM? How come it comes with the silver front still, I want all black.
Also does anyone know if Nokia N95 OEM top and bottom housing cover- NEC, BlackBerry, 3G, Dopod/O2, Alcatel, Motorola, SonyEricsson, Accessories Stor these are hard to install? Bottom one on mine is a little knicked up and might get the black housing and this so I have an excuse to take the phone apart and do the red light fix

I can see a silver front cover in that link, even though its titled all black, I cannot find the black fascia.
