Im sure they are fine, just thought I'd ask if anyone has any experience with them. Just ordered the angled one.

i got the first one. works fine with the N95. but depends on which charger you got. i think some nokia chargers have different ratings

Oh right. I didn't know that, I thought they were all the same. I guess the old heavy type ones cannot be used to charge an N95? Their own chargers are much lighter in weight aren't they.

the squarish one that weighs a brick surely doesn't work. most travel chargers for more expensive phones should work, i'm guessing that because the cheaper phones are low end and has a lower power rating that's why. my brother's nokia 1600 charger is light, it shows charging when the phone is plugged in, but the battery bar remains the same after a day of "charging". same case with the brick charger.

i'll see if i can check the rating on the chargers later

My N95 came with the new light-weight charger with small plug. But it also came with an official Nokia large-to-small adapter (CA-44) specifically for use with the old style heavier charger.

i think haril the old adapters work just fine, the reason i say this is because at one point of time when i had my n73, it did come with the OEM adapter which GSI mentions in this post. i will try digging up my old charger as well to see if it works.

just to add, i got a charger adaptor with my e61. E61 uses the same charger as n95, but nokia supplied the adaptor in the box. Nice!
