my n95 needs a face lift and i dont have enough cash for an oem, if any one bought one from ebay can you give a quick overview of the quality/ who you bought it from?

Personally, I would save a little more for the OEM items, as the non OEM can cause damage, and problems with your front camera, and microphone/ear piece.

How can the front cause damage? When removing the ear piece if you are careful it shouldnt be a problem just make sure it all lines up.

I have a AM front on my n95 and dont have any issues with it but you can tell its not OEM just dont have that solid feel.

Im going by the amount of problems others have had, and handsets ive had in for repair with non OEM cases fitted.

I purchased an OEM housing on Ebay. It came from China so it took a little longer to get to the US, but it was identical to the out-of-the-box housing my phone had. I think I paid with shipping $12. I will have to look up the seller's name, he had a few housings, but everything was as he said it would be.

The Ebay seller I dealt with is "cosmeticfirstchoice". Like I said in an earlier post, he is in China, so it took about two weeks to get the parts to the US. Total cost was $11.50 with shipping.

thanks for the quick reply, how did you get it for 11.50? the ones i see ( NEW Housing Faceplate Cover for Nokia N95 8GB BK MFN9F - eBay (item 120281888072 end time Jul-16-08 15:45:10 PDT) ) are $21ish?

The guy was selling it for $5 plus shipping. I saw it and did the "Buy It Now" so I would get the cheaper price.
