Good Case for N95-3

I have been having aread of all the suggestions for cases on this site and opinions seem to vary greatly. I have only had my phone 3 days and already broken the crystal case. The case would not let the phone slide down only up. When I tried to take it off the phone the corner broke off now it will not stay on the phone. Is there a case out there that some one has had for a while that has stood the test of time and daily use and still allow the phone slider to operate in both directions.

It's big $, leather and does not protect the front, but to answer your question it has stood the test of time.

vaja

Also there are a few silicone cases that allow you to slide both ways. The silicone comes in two pieces.

never get a crystal case for your phone..it's only good for n95 8gb. as panther said, leather or silicone cases are good for it.

After having tried 3 different cases without being satisfied I finally got the Capdase Silocone case, and I must say it's really good.

My first one was first one was some leather/plastic thing from a supposedly good quality brand whose name I have forgotten, which had the keys under some kind of plastic, making it hard to press the keys. Additionally it pressed the gallery or camera key constantly making the batteries drain in no time.

My second case was the crystal case which was even broken on delivery. I asked for a new one, which was also broken at the same place... Anyway, I used it for a day or two and it was almost turning into crumbles. Ludicrously poor quality. Do not buy.

The third case I tried was a case similar to the crystal case, but made of fancy brushed aluminium. Unfortunately, it did not come with a display protection, and it made the phone considerably larger and somewhat heavier. It also made it impossible to turn on/off the phone without taking off the case, which turned out to be rather tricky. So in the end I got the Capdas silicone case.

The Capdase Silicone case was very easy to put on, and even easier to take off. It comes with an excellent shatterproof display protection, which is optional to use. The silicone covers the main keys on the phone, but makes it just a tiny bit more difficult to press them, so it's not a problem really. As always there are a few downsides, but nothing too terrible. 1. Dust and dirt has a tendency to get stuck on it. 2. The display protection is not very resilient to greasy finger prints. 3. When charging the phone with the cover on the charger cable very easily falls off. Aside from these drawbacks it's pretty much perfect.

I use a suede pouch purchased for ebay. It is the original suede pouch that comes with the 80gb and 160gb ipod. Phone fits perfectly and its also protected from dust etc. Of course you do have to take the phone out of it to be able to use it. But i have been using it for a year with no problems and the pouch does not attract dirt and because of its material gives the screen a clean as you put it in and take it out. It was only a few UK pounds.

personally, im a fan of crystal cases. sillicon cases are just ugly.. leather is too bulky and a pouch just doesn't hang on the belt right. you have to look for a crystal case thats made especially for the n95.. or the n95 8gb because of the millimeter differences. thats the only issue. I bought a n95-1 case for my cousin when he first got the n95 when it first came out. The case is pretty scratched and dirty, but it hasn't broken yet. I have a n95-4 crystal case for my 8gb.. and well. my phones only a week old!

what about Noreve cases? pure leather, good construction with proper holes for the dodaads ont he side and the edges which grips the phone are lined with some kind of soft material to prevent scratching the phone...
